In 1985 Barbara Morgan was a back-up to teacher-in-space candidate Christa McAuliffe, who lost her life in the ill-fated Challenger shuttle mission on January 28, 1986.

Nose job 700 years in the making

This is an interesting read. I think it's great that more multi-disciplinary projects are getting the needed publicity, especially the ones that use a lot of CG.

I might just live to see the day when art and science become one.
